Nolans Personal Philosophy on Dental Care
I have been practicing dentistry for over 20 years and a lot
has changed in that time. I now have the kind of dental practice,
I would have liked to have had 20 years ago when I started practicing.
I make people feel good about themselves. I see people who have
dental problems and when I am finished, they are happy. I
make a difference in peoples lives. The most important
thing I have learned in the past 20 years is to listen
to what people say. Many patients say to me, that their previous
dentist did not hear what they said.
It took me many years to shape my practice into what it is today.
I used to let the insurance companies tell me what I could and
could not do. I participated with many insurance company plans,
and diagnosed patients based on their policies and not their
true dental needs and desires. Now, the patient and I decide
what type of dentistry needs to be done, not the insurance company.
It is a true pleasure to be able to practice dentistry and offer
the level of service that I would expect when I go to a medical
office.
I treat people the way people want to be treated by giving them
superior, customer service and establishing a bond with them.
I talk to each patient and ask them what they want most in a
dentist. I try to make my office unlike an ordinary dental office
from the first telephone call to the end of the visit. You will
always find our staff members caring and highly trained in customer
service. You will always feel welcome, never rushed and always
important. You will feel the warmth, caring and energy throughout
the office. We offer beverages in the reception area, along
with a private telephone and computers for our patients use,
and a relaxed atmosphere for your comfort.
I diagnose the patients mouth the way I would diagnose
my own family. I will explain everything about your treatment,
make my recommendations, and then let you decide what services
you would like performed. You will not feel as though any treatment
is being pushed on you.
