Dear Dr. Nolan and Staff,

A few months ago, my worst nightmare came true. I had not attended to my dental problems for long enough that there was no longer putting off the inevitable… I had to have A LOT of work done – fillings, crowns, and a root canal – the whole nine yards. The dentist I was seeing suggested we do the work sloooowly, over a period of 7 or 8 visits. Well, for me, even getting a cleaning is a traumatic event, so having over half a dozen visits to look forward to is not really an option.

After finding out just how much work I needed done, I was driving down Lincoln Boulevard and noticed a friendly face smiling at me from a bus stop. The sign read “We Cater to Dental Chickens.” Talk about being in the right place at the right time. A dental chicken is putting what I am nicely, but the sign worked. I checked out the website, and called. Dr. Nolan even answered the phone, making me feel a personal touch that my previous dentist never gave.

Appointments were made, tears were shed, and the next thing I knew, my dreaded day had arrived. I was (and still, quite frankly, am) embarrassed by how nervous and upset I get, but Dr. Nolan and his staff continually assured e that I was not the nightmare patient I thought I was, that I was not the only one who got so worked up, and more importantly, that I was in good hands. The sedation dentistry work went great (or so they tell me, since I was pretty out of it and don’t remember a thing). And my follow-up appointment to have my permanent crowns put on was also a relative piece of cake.

Everyone took such great care of me and was so kind. I’m sure I’ll still be a nervous wreck the next time I need to have any dental work done, but you can bet I’ll come back to Dr. Nolan’s office.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
