Bridget Anne Raia December 1, 2005 Dear Dental Chickens, My story begins some 10 years ago. I had a root canal gone bad and refused to go back to the dentist who wronged me in the first place. I was driving home one evening – with a major toothache – when I saw a bus bench advertisement that read “We Cater to Dental Chickens”. There I sat w/a major toothache – and the biggest fear of dentists ever (I used to cry in the waiting room while waiting to be treated). And I made the call that changed my life. I’ve never had such a terrific experience with a dentist in my life – Dr. Nolan is such a gentle dentist and has done extensive work on my teeth in the last 10 years. If only I had found him years ago – I could probably have avoided all the additional work from not going to the dentist regularly most of my adult life. I can actually sit in the waiting room anxiety free now and know that whatever needs to be done, Dr. Nolan and his wonderful staff will take good care of me. Aside from Dr. Nolan’s gentle technique, he has a staff that is a “gift from Heaven”. Debbie & Paula have been with him for years. They are so friendly, warm and outgoing – it merely adds to the wonderful experience of visiting the office. So, to you fellow dental chickens – do the right thing – get in to see Dr. Nolan and walk out a better person for facing your fears in an environment that really does cater to you and your fears.
