Hidden Smile

Tom had full mouth reconstruction on his entire upper arch and lower. We performed gum surgery, scaling, cleanings, root canals, extractions, crowns, and bridges. All of his treatment was performed while he was asleep. Tom would spend the day with us and have a lot of treatment at one session. In this way, he would go home and not remember anything. Each time he came back Tom felt a little more comfortable. After the first visit, he left our office with fabricated temporaries in his mouth. Since we were changing his bite, the temporaries remained in his mouth for about six weeks so that he could adjust to his new bite. I wanted to make sure that the patient felt comfortable with the temporaries before going on to making permanent teeth.

The completed results show a new smile. Tom now smiles all the time. His students notice how his new smile has changed his life and his view of the world. This new smile has made a significant difference on Tom
